If Agnes Obel ever plays a gig near you, please check her out. Fantastic Danish singer and songwriter, her songs are so evocative. Here’s a short clip of her 60+ minute 1st December gig at the Monto Water Rats, London. Accompanying her is Anne Ostsee who plays cello and guitar.

Interesting documentary about John Lennon, made by Channel 4 and broadcast in 2000. His family reckon that shortly before his death, John was planning to return to Liverpool. When was the last time John visited Liverpool, by the way?

Lucky shot. I was walking past here, when I saw the sun’s rays coming through the tree. 2 minutes later, the rays were gone. Location is St Paul’s Walden, Hertfordshire, which was the childhood home of the late Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. In fact there are a few Bowes Lyon headstones in the local church cemetery.
