Shot through a window from the 24th floor of Liverpool’s Beetham Tower. Thinking back, I should have waited a little longer until the sun rose up further from the back of Liverpool.

Always a favourite place of mine to take shots of the Liverpool skyline and the two cathedrals. I took this video in 2007, when the Liverpool skyline was still changing with the new developments.
Due to it’s commanding position, the Royalist Prince Rupert had his HQ here in 1644 before his army attacked Liverpool. I think it was John Bishop that said this was the last time anyone called Rupert ever won a fight in city :¬) It was also the place where the wealthy folk of Liverpool lived in their mansions in the early 1800s.
