Yorkshire House, 18 Chapel Street, Liverpool

I was walking through Rumford Place, Liverpool recently and this limestone building on the corner of Chapel Street caught my eye. It’s the former Yorkshire Building Society, built in the mid 1920s. It was unoccupied for a number until its refurbishment in 2006. Valued at £5 million then, it must be worth a whole lot more now.
